Quick Catchup

(This blog is for the finalization of this project: for research and structure development see this blog http://world-of-tomara.blogspot.co.uk/)

So, seeing as it's been a while since I've posted anything I'm going to do a quick recap of what I have done on this project since January:

Things that are decided/undergoing:
- I have decided to make three stages of a dragon from each clan with changeable customization, changed from several dragon species in each clan.
- I am designing the dragons first as I can draw them up and finalize them really quickly, the humans will require more time and focus. By getting the dragons done first, I won't worry about anything detouring me from the human designs.
- The logo for Tomara will appear in "The NUA Incident", a game created with the objective of climbing blocks. These blocks will feature student work and is mandatory to submit for.
- The world map is too big - I will limit it to one large span of land and divide that into the sections for the clans.
(Left: Baby Fire Dragon, magma cracks around nostrils were removed in the final version. Approved head shots of Juvenile and Adult Fire Dragons)

Full scale reference sheets of Fire and Air Dragons.
Humans will be edited in once their designs are completed.

Things to start/decide:
- Logo's appearance
-Water and Earth dragons, all humans
- Prints for the end of year show (mandatory). Max of 3 per person, so my original plan of one per clan is a no go.

(Above: First mockup of possible print idea. Second is refined, lightened to stop colour bleed upon printing and tinted orange to compliment blues)

I will keep up to date from now on about any progress mad on the project.
